Barbara Peterson ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Kramer Family Funeral Home - Sherburn Chapel on Mar. 10, 2026.SHERBURN: Barbara Anne Peterson, 84, of Sherburn, Minnesota and formerly of Fairmont, Minnesota passed away peacefully on Monday morning, March 9, 2026 at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, Minnesota.A Private Graveside Service will be held per Barabara's request at Welcome City Cemetery. The Kramer Family Funeral Home of Sherburn, Trimont and Welcome, Minnesota are in care of Barb's arrangements.Barbara Anne Peterson was born June 4th, 1941 to Sylvester and Opal Peterson in Fairmont, Minnesota. The family later moved to Austin, Minnesota where Barabara graduated from high school. She graduated from college in Iowa and then enjoyed teaching physical education classes at Humbolt, IA schools for 12 years. She later ran a business with her brother James in Bager, IA for 15 years before moving back to Sherburn, Minnesota to care for her parents. Barabara loved watching sports, putting puzzles together and anything Elvis. She attended meetings at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Blue Earth, Minnesota and enjoyed what she was learning from the Bible.Left to cherish her memory is her brother David Peterson of Fairmont, Minnesota.
