He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Torres, Jesse Torres and Patricia Gorham (Edwin Gorham); his grandson Michael Jacob Torres; his great grandchild Joshua Michael Torres; his grandchildren, Michelle Rocha, Adrian Rocha, Abigail Marie Gorham and Emma Ladell Gorham; and his sister Elia Lehn.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Garza Memorial Funeral Home (1025 E Jackson St, Brownsville, TX 78520). A rosary will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (2405 E Tyler St, Brownsville, TX 78520). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Buena Vista Burial Park (5 Mc Davitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521).
