Austin Binks Lafferty

Austin Binks Lafferty

June 20, 2000 March 11, 2026

Rogers, AR

Austin Binks Lafferty, 25, of Rogers, Arkansas, was born on June 20, 2000, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, to Scott and Loretta (Mullins) Lafferty. He passed away on March 11, 2026, in Rogers.

Austin graduated from Har-Ber High School in the Class of 2019 and from the University of Arkansas in 2023 as an Honors College student, earning a degree in Supply Chain Management with a minor in Information Systems. He was employed at Unilever in Newark, New Jersey, until his illness. Known for his high character and pursuit of excellence, Austin was deeply loved as a son, brother, and friend.

He was the kindest, most humble, thoughtful, generous, and loving person his family had ever known. Austin lived with a great sense of humor, an infectious smile, and a laugh that filled every room. He faced his illness with remarkable courage and strength, never seeking pity, never complaining, and continually praising God with gratitude for his blessings. His family treasured his presence, his “bone-crushing hugs,” and the joy he brought simply by being himself. They remain heartbroken that his time on earth was far too short, yet grateful beyond words to have been chosen as his parents.

Austin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas Binks and Patsy Lafferty and Tommy and Alice Mullins, and his aunt Caroline Keller. He is survived by his parents, Scott and Loretta Lafferty; his sister, Haley Miller (Jared) and their son, Bennett; his brother, Ian Lafferty; paternal uncles Alan and Brad Lafferty; and maternal aunts and uncles Lisa Westmorland, Teresa Booth, Tommy, Donny, and Danny Mullins.
