October 7, 1926 March 12, 2026

Antigo, WI

Audrey P. Ulesich of Antigo, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, at Garden View Assisted Living. Born on October 7, 1926, in Antigo to the late Harry Now and Susan (MacKay) Now Bostwick, she married William Ulesich on November 29, 1958, in Milwaukee. Together they created a life filled with quiet joys—raising their daughter, traveling, caring for beloved pets, and tending their garden. William preceded her in death in October 1991.

Audrey worked early in her life at the Antigo Glove Factory before moving to Milwaukee. In 1961 she and William welcomed their only child, Tamyra. Audrey then devoted herself fully to caring for her family. In 1978 the couple returned to Antigo, where they spent many happy years together in retirement.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Audrey took deep pride in her family. She is survived by her granddaughters Kimberly (Mark Young) Jahnke of Antigo and Alisha (Brandon) Resch of Antigo; grandsons Joel Jahnke of Redmond, Washington, and Kenny Steinfest of Marshfield; six great-grandchildren, Ainsley Stronstad, Jack Stronstad, William Young, Adaleigh Resch, Aniela Resch, and Alainey Resch; son-in-law Tommie Hitz of Antigo; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her daughter, Tamyra Hitz; her brothers, Eugene Now and William Now; and her sister, Gwendolyn Reimer. Burial will take place at Elmwood Cemetery in Antigo at a later date.
