Audrey Lehron

Audrey Santos Lehron, 92, of Tampa, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on August 1, 1933, in Stonington, Connecticut, she was the daughter of Surferane and Henrietta Santos.

As the wife of Air Force veteran Vincent Lehron, Audrey embraced a life of travel and adventure, raising her family across many states and overseas in Okinawa and England. She held a deep love for family, celebrations, and the cherished tradition of yearly visits to her hometown of Stonington. With a heart as big as her smile, she never met a baby she didn’t ask to hold.

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Sonny Santos, and her husband Vincent Lehron. She is lovingly remembered by her six children: Rik (Deb) Pampel of Arkansas; Rina (Steve) Odell, Ron Pampel, and Rose (Brad) Griffin of Florida; Retta (Eddie) Moran of Texas; and Robin Pampel of Minnesota. She is also survived by her siblings Johonor Santos of Ledyard, Terry (Sandy) Grimes, Bunny Wilcox, and Bob Santos of Stonington, and Ernie Santos of Vermont. Audrey leaves behind eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
