She is now in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, healed and with no more pain in her new body.Born on June 10, 1936, to Borger and Adelle (Mark), Audrey moved to Florida in 1989 from Smithtown, New York, before settling in the Leesburg area in 2005. A woman of deep faith and a beautiful heart for God, she dedicated much of her life to service and her profession.In New York, she served as the President of the Auxiliary at St. John's Episcopal Hospital in Smithtown. Professionally, she was a diamontologist for Kay Jewelers at the Lake Square Mall in Leesburg and a consultant for Burdines in St. Petersburg. Audrey was known as a strong, beautiful woman, a devoted wife, a mother, and a friend to all.She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Edward (d. 2018); her three children, Jeffrey (d. 1999), Cheryl (d. 2014), and Mark (d. 2025); as well as her parents and brothers, Robert and Russell Borgersen.Audrey is survived by her three grandchildren, Shawn, Kaitlyn, and Nicole; her great-granddaughter, Hailey; and her daughter-in-law, Eileen. She is also remembered by Lonnie Davis, with whom she found love again and who cared for her deeply during their two years together.Her legacy is best captured by Corinthians 13:4-7 (NIV): "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs..." and 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV): "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.
