She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Roosevelt Snider and Ruby Snider; her husband Walter Mahlon Adams; her children, Richard Mahlon Adams, Betsy Kaye Adams and Sally Gaye Adams; her siblings, Clyde R. Snider Jr., U. S. Snider and Sarah Troublefield; and her sisters-in-law, Jeanette Snider and Joyce Snider.

She is survived by: her children, Ruby King (Barry), Debbie Mitchell (Bill), Gordon Adams (Sara) and James Adams; her brother Robert Lewis Snider (Alice); and her brother-in-law Braxton Troublefield. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Tyro Methodist Church (4484 S Nc Hwy 150, Lexington, NC 27295). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
