Ateaka Queen Wiley, 75, of Lake Wylie, South Carolina, passed away on March 8, 2026, in Fort Mill, South Carolina. A native of Gastonia, North Carolina, she graduated from Frank L. Ashley High School and enjoyed a long career as an executive assistant with Paradyne, AT&T, Lucent Technologies, and Avaya, from which she retired.

She was a devoted grandmother who cherished her family. Ateaka was the daughter of the late Arnold Hubert and Ella Hamby Queen. She was preceded in death by her sister Brenda Gilbert and her nephew Kenneth Andrew Caldwell.

She is survived by her son, Steven Nicholas Wiley and his wife Zhengzheng of Fort Mill, South Carolina; her sister Deanna Burgess of Greenwood, South Carolina; her brother Artie Queen of Augusta, Georgia; two grandchildren, Conner Wiley and Drake Wiley; and her in-laws Wenrong Yu and Jixian Hu of Chaoyang, China. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
