Arthur L. Schultz

Arthur L. Schultz, 83, of Huntley, passed away on March 15, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 20, 1942, in Chicago, he was the son of Arthur W. and Virginia Schultz. Arthur graduated from Lane Tech High School in 1960 and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1961 to 1965, stationed at various bases across the Asia-Pacific region. He later worked as a truck driver and dedicated member of Teamsters Local 705 for more than 40 years.

On his birthday, March 20, 1971, Arthur married the love of his life, Joann Grzech, in Chicago. Together they shared a deep enjoyment of traveling across the United States. Arthur found great pleasure in restoring antique cars, watching Western movies, collecting keychains, wearing his Harley-Davidson t-shirts, and listening to the Rolling Stones. Above all, he cherished his role as a devoted husband, father, and “Pappy,” finding his greatest joy in time spent with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Joann Schultz; children, Tony (Eileen) Schultz and Duke Schultz; grandchildren, Nathan and Madilyn; son-in-law, Jeff Jayko; and sister, Sue Lopez. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Tracy Jayko.
