Arthur J. “AJ Coyote” Blye, age 67, of Auburn, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester.
At the age of 17, AJ joined the United States Army Special Task Force. Following his discharge, he built a career in construction and remodeling. He found deep joy in hunting, camping, attending Native pow wows, and walking in the woods. He and his wife shared many memorable trips to the mountains together. He proudly embraced his Native American heritage as a respected warrior in the Thirteen Moons Turtle Clan and, in recent years, regularly attended events at the Worcester Inter-tribal Indian Center.
He is survived by his loving wife of eight years, Wendy (Hammond) Blye; his stepdaughter, Mandie Burdett and her partner, Kevin Schofield; his stepson, Colin Burdett; five brothers; two sisters; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was a loving and devoted Bumpa to his two granddaughters, Naia and Melia Schofield.
