Arthur Henry Sichau, age 89, passed away surrounded by his loved ones, Friday, March 6, 2026. He was born at home in Cleveland on July 12, 1936 to the late Robert and Natalia (nee Gerdal) Sichau. He was the youngest of seven children; sisters, Martha, Lydia, Ruth; and brothers, Harry, Walter and Reynold.

He attended Kent State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, then went on to open his own architectural practice and construction company. Art enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and gathered many great memories with family and friends at his cabin in Pennsylvania. The family always looked forward to their yearly vacation on the shores of Lake Erie at Linwood Park in Vermilion.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Sandra; children, Todd, Amber (Chris) Algeri, and Shay; and grandchildren, Noah and Shyla Algeri and Gabriel Sichau.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Reichlin Roberts Bollinger Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland St., Elyria, Ohio, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with the service beginning at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Hope Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 2447 Center Rd., Hinckley, Ohio,
