Arthur D. Allison, 91, a lifelong resident of Antrim, New Hampshire, passed away with his family by his side on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Born on May 10, 1934, in Henniker, New Hampshire, to Hedley and Evelyn (Austin) Allison, Art served his country with distinction in the United States Marine Corps from 1953 to 1956 and then in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1960. He worked for many years as a print shop foreman at the Monadnock Ledger Transcript. On Friday and Saturday nights, he tended bar at the Hillsborough Legion hall for 28 years. Later in life, he and his wife Ann enjoyed spending winters in Santa Clarita, California, with their son and his family. Whether in New Hampshire or California, Art loved taking long walks and photographing interesting plants and flowers.
