Arthur Baranowski

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arthur Baranowski (Wood River, Illinois), who passed away on March 7, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur R. Folwarski and Zdzislawa Folwarski. He is survived by: his wife Carla; his children, Tara and Michael; his brother Thad; his sister-in-law Ruth Baranowski; his brother Andy; and his close friends, Jeff, Debbie Lister, JoAnne, Pat Golden, Sue Dietrich, Robine, Bill Tyler, Teresa and Ernie Cervantes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Pitchford Funeral Home (2555 Vaughn Rd, Wood River, IL 62095). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home. Make a donation to one of the following charities in remembrance of Arthur Baranowski.
