Arnold "Arnie" George Kohlgraf, age 82 of Onamia, MN, passed away on March 6, 2026, peacefully at his home. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Onamia, MN, with Pastor Rick Gabriel officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Arrangements are with the LeMieur Funeral Home in Onamia.Arnie was born September 14, 1943, in McGrath, Minnesota, to George and Minnie (Behrmann) Kohlgraf. He achieved his high school diploma before beginning a long career with the Soo Line Railroad, where he worked faithfully from the time he graduated until his retirement in 1997. Arnie also proudly served as a member of the National Guard. Arnie met his beloved wife, Mary Anne, at the skating rink in Onamia and they married in 1966. They shared many years together until her passing on September 19, 2023. Arnie enjoyed spending time outdoors and working with his hands. His interests included hunting and fishing, trapping, making maple syrup, restoring tractors, and reloading ammunition. He was proud to participate in honor guard duties and was well known for operating his archery business for many years. Arnie valued hard work, service to others, and time spent with family and friends.He is survived by his sons, Kerry, Korey, and Kelly (Charlotte) Kohlgraf; grandchildren, Kortney (Jake) Sawatzky and Kristopher Kohlgraf; great-grandchildren, Paul and Atha Sawatzky; other relatives, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Anne Kohlgraf; his parents, George and Minnie Kohlgraf; and brother, Gordon Kohlgraf.
