Arnold “Arnie” George Artress, age 89 of LaFollette, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at LaFollette Medical Center surrounded by his family. Born on June 27, 1936, Arnie found quiet joy in fishing and bird watching throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Linda Kaye Artress, his daughter Melissa Elizabeth Younce, and his brother Dale Artress.
Arnie is survived by his grandson Curtis Taylor Jr. and wife Whitney of Jacksboro, and their sons Dylan and Dallas; his daughter Robin (Anderson) Cole of Michigan and her sons Brandon, Gage, and Dylan; his sister Andra Sticher; and a host of other relatives and friends.
