(Paulsen) Elliot, age 88, of Sunrise Beach, MO passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.She was born on April 21, 1937, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Pearl (Smith) Paulsen and Torvel Paulsen. She married Charles D. Elliot, Jr. on July 17, 1954, and together for 66 years of marriage, they built a life centered on family and friends.Arliss was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She worked as a commercial and residential realtor for many years and was known for her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family. She enjoyed hobbies-cooking, sewing, and reading. Chuck and Arliss' biggest enjoyment in life was to spend their free time in the Lake of the Ozarks. They loved the boating and relaxing lake lifestyle. Arliss loved creating celebrations for each and every birthday and holiday. They were always surrounded by family and friends. They never knew a stranger. Everyone was welcome.She is survived by her children, Cherie Elliot, Steven Elliot and Pamela (Elliot) Petropoulos; grandchildren, Jennifer Elliot, Mark Elliot, Keith Elliot, Joshua Turner, Amanda (Turner) Lee, Meghan (Murphy) Piere and Kevin Murphy; sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Elliot, Jr., and her daughter, Debra J. (Elliot) Murphy.A graveside service will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery, 3300 Shawnee Dr, Kansas City, KS on March 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Details of the celebration of life reception will be shared at her graveside service.She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
