Arlene Mae (Wylie) Stover, 91, of Monroeville, passed away on March 5, 2026. Born on May 3, 1934, in Pittsburgh to the late Robert and Margaret (Kenning) Wylie, she spent her working years as a cafeteria worker for the Penn Hills School District. Arlene found quiet joy in crocheting and maintained warm, long-standing friendships through letters to pen pals across the country.
She is survived by her children, Darlene (Phil) Pirozzi and Edward (Carol) Stover; three granddaughters, Amanda (Christian) Kearns, Jennifer Stover, and Lori (Jake) Kastrenakes; two grandsons, Phillip Pirozzi, Jr., and Joshua (Lauren) Stover; and great-grandchildren, Matthew Kearns, June Kastrenakes, and Sutton Stover. In addition to her parents, Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Stover, and her brother, Robert (Violet) Wylie.
She will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose steady presence and simple pleasures left a lasting impression on those who knew and loved her.
