Archie was born Sept. 27, 1947, in Sneedville, Tennessee, the daughter of Floyd and Helen Goins Burchett. She married William "Bill" W. Cody on May 22, 1987, in Las Vegas. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Tammy Morgan; two brothers, David and Bob Burchett; and a brother-in-law, Ron England.Archie worked for the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency for 25 years. She loved to travel, play bingo and gamble, and she enjoyed every opportunity to spend time with family and friends.Archie is survived by her husband of nearly 40 years, Bill Cody, of Pawnee; two daughters, Tina M. Kiehl of Springfield and Jodie L. Wagner of Blue Springs, Missouri; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four sisters; Susie (husband, Richard) Grooms, of Pawnee, Mildred (husband, Gene) Baker of Sneedville, Tennessee, Hazel England of Tazwell, Tennessee, and Daisey (husband, Lynn) Roach of Morristown, Tennessee; two brothers, Doyle (wife, Wendy) Burchett of Sneedville, Tennessee, and Doug (wife, Tammy) Burchett of Pineville, Kentucky; her mother-in-law, Margie Cody, of Pawnee; and several nieces, including Kimberly (husband, Paul) Kras, of Pawnee, nephews and cousins.Cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date, with burial at Horse Creek Cemetery in Pawnee.Memorial contributions may be made to the Pawnee Food Pantry, P.O.
