Ardine Carol Keaton

Ardine Carol Keaton, 89, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on March 8, 2026, in Santee, California.

Born on October 29, 1936, to Edgar J. and Grace A. Chamberlain, Ardine grew up alongside her brother Dale Chamberlain and her sister Diane Blomstrom. She met the love of her life, William C. Keaton, through mutual friends, and they married on November 2, 1958. The couple shared many happy years together until William’s passing on March 2, 2002.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Ardine cherished every moment spent with her family. She is survived by her three children, Kenneth Keaton, Brian Keaton, and Kelly Patterson, along with their spouses Marijoyce, Melody, and Brian. She also leaves behind five grandchildren—Amy, Tyler, Shaun, Brent, and Allison—and five great-grandchildren: Rhett, Harper, Keaton, Bryson, and Alaya.

An avid sports fan, Ardine proudly supported the San Diego Padres and the SDSU Aztecs. She took special pride in her long career with the San Diego Padres, often saying it was the best job she ever had. She will be remembered for her warm spirit, her deep love for her family, and the quiet joy she found in cheering on her favorite teams.
