Archie E. "Bucky" Jackson

Archie E. “Bucky” Jackson, 67, of Elyria, passed away on March 8, 2026 after a lengthy illness. Born on March 12, 1958 in Ripley, West Virginia, to Wanda F. and Archie D. Jackson, Bucky was known for his outgoing personality and zest for life. He found great joy in fishing, hunting, gardening, canning, and riding his beloved Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

He is survived by his wife, Susan (née Chiara); his daughter, Rachel Jackson; his son, Russell Jackson (deceased); his sisters, Cindy Emmerich and Tina Coleman (his sister Debbie Tipton is deceased); and his grandchildren, Eli Jackson, Zayden Manzo, and Greyson Manzo. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who will cherish his memory.

A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026 at the Elyria Eagles Club. Interment will take place at Brookdale Cemetery at a later date.
