April Hudson Champagne

Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. April Hudson Champagne, age 45, of Four Oaks passed away on March 7, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family. The family will receive friends from 3:00PM to 5:45PM on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at the Crossroads Church in Benson. Funeral Services will follow at 6:00PM. Pastor Matt Williams will officiate.

April was born on December 31, 1980 in Johnston County, North Carolina to Cindy Medlin and the late Jasper Dwight Hudson. April loved her family wholeheartedly; she was passionate about helping bring children into this world through her work as a doula, and helping the lost find new life in Jesus Christ. Above all, her love for the Lord shone through each and every aspect of her life.

Survivors include her husband, Arty Champagne; children, Cylas Champagne, Hollyn Champagne Purdum and husband, William, Brooklynn Champagne, Lauryn Champagne, Jayce Champagne; mother, Cindy Medlin; and her brother, Stacey Hudson and wife, Alva.
