He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He departed from this earthly life on February 26th, 2026.Antonio was preceded in death by his parents, Felicitas and Guadalupe Perez; wife, Theresa; brothers, Ezequiel U. Ramirez and Jesus U. Ramirez; grandchildren, Priscilla Rodriguez, Lieutenant John Holt, Jr., and Anthony A. Rodriguez. He is survived by his daughters, Sylvia Holt, Betty Rodriguez (Gilbert), and Irene Escalante (Gilbert). He was also blessed with a large family of grandchildren, including David Holt, Gilbert Rodriguez Jr. (Angelica), Christopher Rodriguez (Veronica), Sarah Rodriguez, and Brianna Escalante, as well as great grandchildren, Priscilla A. Rodriguez, Isaiah Dominguez, Isaac Rodriguez, Arian Rodriguez, Lorenzo Rodriguez, Joeli M Rodriguez, and Ily M Dominguez. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends whom he considered family.He was a proud veteran. Antonio joined the United States Army at the age of 22 in 1953 and served his country until his honorable discharge in 1955. He later dedicated his career to civil service at Kelly AFB in San Antonio, Texas for 37 years where he eventually retired.Our father had a great passion for golf, a game he loved sharing with his brother, grandsons, son-in-laws, and friends. He also found joy in dancing, singing, watching football, and all other sports. He enjoyed relaxing with cowboy movies and dominoes. He spent his final years at Sinceri Senior Living (formerly Brookdale Senior Living), where all the staff called him papa, and he also enjoyed the outside garden and touched the hearts of many new friends. Our Panka will truly be missed.Serving as pallbearers will be David Holt, Gilbert Rodriguez, Jr., Christopher Rodriguez, Anthony Alcala, Gilbert Escalante, and Mark Anthony Moreno II.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
