Antonio Bernard Stewart, 67, of Palm Bay, Florida, passed away on February 20, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Edwards-Joseph and Calvin (Seckie) Stewart, his sister Linda Lynch, and his brother Robert (Junie) Lynch, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Ann Buckine; his children, Reggie, Darion, Amira, and Juma; five grandchildren; and his daughter-in-love. He shared 54 years with Lady E. Nicholas (also known as Erlene Stewart), along with a former wife and many mutual friends. He is also survived by his brothers Daryl and Wayne Gerard; his sisters Carmen Stewart, Linda Stewart-Jowers, and Pamela Lynch; five nephews, Gerard (Bonga) Gaylord, Jr., Michael and Ebbie Willocks, Uriel Gerard, and Jerel Lynch; one niece, Shevon (Precious) Gerard-Gonzalez; his mother-in-law, Margie Stewart of New York; and two lifelong friends of 58 years, Rev. Dr. Ronald Lindsey of Georgia and Burton Peterson of the U.S. Virgin Islands, as well as a host of other family members and friends.
A U.S. Army veteran, Antonio served four years on active duty, including two years in Korea, followed by six years in the Army Reserve. He later retired from the United States Postal Service. Those who knew him remember him as a beacon of light and a generous spirit, courageous in helping others. A selfless advocate with a servant’s heart, he was a steadfast rock, anchor, and cornerstone for his family, always placing their needs before his own.
