Antonietta "Toni" Fitzgerald

Antonietta “Toni” Alice Fitzgerald, 99, of Battle Creek, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

Born on November 20, 1926, in Madis, Italy, to Carlo and Elena (Lorenzi) Armanini, Toni came to the United States in 1930 and settled in Yatesboro, Pennsylvania. In 1947, she married Thomas E. Fitzgerald at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Yatesboro. After moving to Battle Creek, she worked as a bookkeeper at Battle Creek Ford. She found great joy in golf, bowling, and traveling, especially her yearly trips to Las Vegas with her sisters. She cherished playing cards with her family and hosting lively family Christmases at her home.

Toni is survived by her grandsons, Randall (Karla) Ramon and Thomas (Danielle) Fitzgerald, and her sisters, Linda (Jerry) Bucklin, Pauline (Bill) Evans, and Enis (Bob) Gray. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; her parents; her daughter, Ellen Kenyon; her son, Floyd (Margaret) Fitzgerald; and her brothers, Mario, Joseph, Benny, and Louis Armanini.
