Antoinette Jasmine DiCaterino went to be with the Lord on March 1, 2026 surrounded by her family. Born May 16, 1943 in Amsterdam to Nicholas and Blanche Ratka DeNise. She attended Wilbur H. Lynch Senior High School and FMCC. Her most recent employment was with St. Mary’s Hospital.
Antoinette was a staunch patriot and a true artist in every sense of the word. She appreciated all of God‘s natural environment, as well as each of His living creatures. She was a devoted mother, a proud grandmother and a loyal sister and friend. She will be loved and missed by her family forever.
She was predeceased by her husband Daniel J. DiCaterino Sr. and great granddaughter Gwyneth Hernandez.
Antoinette is survived by her children Deborah Flint (Joseph), Daniel “Jamie” DiCaterino (Pilar), Kristian DiCaterino (Jessica). Grandchildren Ashley Hernandez (Ryan), Brittany Flood (Brian), Ellis, Everett, Harrison, Audrey, Spencer, Natalie, Helen and Jude Flint. Bianca (fiancée Michael), Vincenzo, Lola, Alexander and Mariano DiCaterino and Anthony and Dominic DiCaterino.Great grandchildren Eloise, Violette, Caspian, Roscoe and Steele Hernandez, Valentina Flint, Julian Harder- DiCaterino. Angelo, Carmelo and Millie Insogna and Teddy, Beatrice, Rowan anf Vera Flood and sisters Jeanette Iarusso and Blanche Martz.
Antoinette's funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 11 am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 39 St. John Street, Amsterdam, NY with Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis as celebrant.
