Antoinette C. Donato

Antoinette C. Donato, 100, of Dunmore, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Green Ridge Nursing Home in Scranton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony William Donato Sr., who died in June 1989.

Born in Old Forge, Pennsylvania, Antoinette was the daughter of the late Daniel and Louise Grecco Coyer. She worked for many years as a teller at Third National Bank in Scranton, where she formed lasting friendships and cherished her regular dinner dates with her colleagues. She also took great joy in watching her grandchildren participate in their various sporting events.

She is survived by her two children, Donna Stravinsky and her husband Ronald of Philadelphia, and Anthony William Donato Jr. and his wife Christina Kennedy Donato of Scranton; four grandchildren, Randy Donato and his wife Marguerite of Dunmore, Allie Cordaro and her husband Peter of Moosic, Anthony James Donato of Scranton, and Jennifer Stravinsky of Philadelphia; and four great-grandchildren, Nina, Benjamin, Dean, and Olivia. She was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Coyer.

Her family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of Hospice of Sacred Heart and Hospice Community Care for the compassionate care they provided Antoinette in her final days. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
