Anthony W. Fletcher, known affectionately as Tony, passed away on March 10, 2026, at his home in Collinsville, Illinois, surrounded by his loving family. He was 67. Born on December 1, 1958, in Winchester, Kentucky, to the late William Henry Fletcher and Geraldine Caldwell Bosch, Tony graduated from Collinsville High School in 1976. He went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Navy from 1978 to 1982. After his military service, he built a career as a skilled welder and pipefitter.

Tony was a lifetime member of the Collinsville VFW Post 5691. He remained a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and NASCAR throughout his life and found great joy in riding his Harley-Davidson alongside his wife, Cathy. Above all, he treasured the time spent with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cathy I. Fletcher, née Embrey, whom he married on February 18, 2005; his sons, David Garloch of Collinsville and Mark Garloch and his wife Holly of Collinsville; his daughter, Erin Martinez and her husband Hector of Collinsville; four grandchildren, Kaylie Castellanos and her husband Mario, Stephanie, Elena, and Eva; a great-granddaughter, Viviana; his sisters, Ruth Ann Rommerskirchen and her husband Curtis of Pocahontas, Illinois, and Sondra Gibson and her husband Richard of Granite City, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews.
