For more than 40 years, California was home, the place where he and Debbie raised their daughter and built a life filled with laughter, memories, and community. In his later years, he moved to Texas to be close to his daughter and son-in-law, a chapter filled with closeness, gratitude, and family. Tony had a remarkable gift for fixing anything cars, appliances, and anything in need of a carefulhand. He loved the challenge of understanding how things worked and took joy in solvingproblems big and small. He was endlessly curious, loved history, and enjoyed sharing stories that made people smile. He adored animals and had a heart that opened effortlessly to anyone who needed help. He never hesitated to stop what he was doing to lend a hand, offer a kind word, or simply be present. He never held a grudge, never complained, and always chose laughter. He was a devoted Steelers fan, and his greatest joy in life was his daughter. Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony Rudolf Balestrieri and Alice Balestrieri. He had a heart of gold and a smile that could light up a room. He accepted people exactly as they were and lived with a rare, gentle authenticity. The world has lost a remarkable man, father, and friend but his light remains in every life he touched. "In our darkest moments we find light, and you will always be our light. We will love you forever until we meet again."
