Born and raised in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Anthony lived a life filled with love, music, and cherished family connections.Anthony attended New Brunswick High School in New Jersey and developed a deep passion for music at an early age. A talented musician, he played the bass guitar and drums and recorded much of his work over the years. His love for music was a defining part of his life and brought joy to those around him. In addition to his musical talents, Anthony enjoyed fishing with his brothers and family members-a pastime that created countless treasured memories.In 1986, Anthony's life changed forever when he met Sandra Van Liew during a post-Thanksgiving dinner on Long Island, New York. Introduced by his cousin Darrell Hawkins and Sandra's best friend Kenthan "Rita" Copprue, Anthony found the love of his life. The couple married in April 1987 and welcomed the birth of their daughter in March 1988 youngest of the 8. From that moment on, two families were united as one. Together, Anthony and Sandra built a beautiful blended family of eight children: (Son)Terry Van Liew of California; (Son)Anthony Jackson of New Jersey; (Daughter)Nikeata Van Liew of North Carolina; (Son)Abdul "Raheim" & Keisha Jackson of New Jersey; (Daughter)Satiya Van Liew of Florida; (Son)Tyrell & Tanasha Jackson of New Jersey; (Son)Shawn & Shanita Jackson of New Jersey; and (Daughter)Alana' & Christopher Honor of New York.Anthony was also a proud grandfather to Ashante, Davaysia, Nashe, Lyrik, Abdul Jr., Terry, Kyrie, Jahzarra, Shawn, Tymeir, Samira, Kingston, Tyler, Teryell, Tristian, Camiyah, Asiah, Christopher Jr., Anton-and a great-grandfather to Sincere, Elliana, Royce and Kairo. Brother in law, Aaron His legacy lives on through each of them.Anthony worked as a driver for education transit in Long Island New York, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Marion County he was a proud driver holding the responsibility of many young lives.Anthony was known for his loving nature and ability to form deep connections with everyone he met. To him, friends became family-brothers or sisters in spirit-and he embraced all with open arms. His warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him.Anthony was predeceased by his parents Gwendolyn O'Neal Jackson and Robert Eddie Jackson Sr.; his sister Rochelle "Shelly" Jackson; and brothers Robert Eddie Jackson Jr. and Rodney Jackson. Anthony's memory will be cherished by all who knew him. May the love he shared continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.He is survived by his beloved wife Sandra Van Liew-Jackson; his siblings (Brother) James Craig & Dawn Jackson, (Brother)Tyrone Jackson, Stacey, (Sister) Marcia Lynn Harris; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, and friends who will miss him dearly.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
