Surrounded by the tender presence of his beloved daughter Christine and his precious granddaughter Tonianne, Anthony's courageous battle with Alzheimer's, which he endured for seven years, came to a serene close at his home.Born on July 26, 1934, in the vibrant heart of Brooklyn, NY, Anthony was the cherished son of James and Theresa Forte. He was a proud graduate of James Madison High School and furthered his education at Brooklyn College, where his intellect and passion for learning shone brightly.Anthony dedicated his professional life to Marine Transport Lines, where he excelled as a Marine Purchasing Agent. His unwavering commitment and expertise were instrumental in the successful operation of the MARAD Ready Reserve Vessels during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, and later, Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. His dedication to his work was a testament to his character a man of integrity and honor, who always went above and beyond in his service to others.Though Anthony's accomplishments in his career were significant, it was his personal qualities that truly defined him. Known for his unwavering kindness and generosity, Anthony had a remarkable ability to inspire those around him. His strength and resilience were a beacon of hope and encouragement to all who were fortunate enough to know him. He lived a life dedicated to the well-being of others, consistently placing the needs of family and friends above his own.Anthony was predeceased by his loving parents, James and Theresa, and his siblings, Constance, Vincenza, Jennie, Terry, Rose, Jim, Christopher, Marie, and Carmela. His legacy is carried on by his devoted daughter Christine, his cherished granddaughter Tonianne, nephews Robert and Terry Earley, and great-nephews Jon Peter and Steven Earley. Though his family was small, his impact was immeasurable, and he leaves behind a treasure trove of memories that will be forever cherished.In his leisure time, Anthony found immense joy in the company of his loved ones, particularly his granddaughter, with whom he shared countless precious moments. His warmth and affectionate nature made him a beloved figure in the lives of all who knew him.A service to honor Anthony's extraordinary life will be held on March 8, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Scalia Funeral Home, located at 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10312.
