Anthony G. VanAllen, age 89, of Johnstown, New York, passed away at his home on March 4, 2026. Born on April 7, 1936, in Gloversville, New York, he was the son of the late George VanAllen and Mary Christiano VanAllen.
Anthony proudly served his country in the United States Navy, an experience that deeply shaped his character and values. He cherished time spent with family and friends, and found great joy in the outdoors, whether hunting, fishing, or riding his ATV. Though he is gone from our sight, he will remain forever in our hearts.
He is survived by his daughter, Mary Beth Gomez; grandchildren, Lily, Jake, and Zach Gomez; nephew, Timothy Blanchard; and great-nephews, Josh and Matt Blanchard.
