It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony Alfonso Lopez, who left this world on March 5, 2026, at the age of 43. Born on December 31, 1982, Anthony was a vibrant and loving spirit who touched the lives of those around him with his kindness and compassion. He is survived by his devoted mother, Yvonne Dominguez, and stepfather, Dennis Dominguez. His legacy continues through his brothers: Joseph Lopez, Jr., Timothy Lucas Lopez, Jesse Lopez, and Jamie Lopez. Anthony is also cherished by his aunts and uncles, including Gifford (Ruth) Martinez, Ronald (Nancy) Martinez, Joyce Prosser, Nedra (Donald) Martinez, David Martinez, Anthony (Felice) Martinez, and Toni (Roddy) Quintana, along with numerous cousins and extended family members.Anthony was known for his infectious sense of humor, his outgoing personality, and his love of art; he found joy in coloring and drawing, and he filled every room with music. A true friend to many, he was always willing to lend a hand and never turned down an opportunity to support others. Anthony's respect for all and his loving nature made him a cherished figure within his community.He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Lopez, Sr., his grandmothers, Eloisa Martinez and Eliria Gallegos, and his uncles Marvin Martinez, John Prosser and aunt Yvonne Martinez, who all hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.A Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 9:30 AM followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:00 AM both at the Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church in Del Norte. Inurnment will follow services in the Del Norte Cemetery to honor Anthony's life and the profound impact he had on all of us. Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate his memory, share stories, and find comfort in each other's presence.As we remember Anthony, let us carry forward his spirit of kindness, humor, and love for life. He will be dearly missed but will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
