Annie Martina Montejano

Annie Martinez Montejano, age 91, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026. Born on January 30, 1935, in Orange County to Mercedes Saldana Martinez and Gregorio Martinez, she was raised there and lived her entire life in the community she loved.

She married Tony Manuel Montejano and together they raised six children: Tony Jr., Shirley, Eddie, Lorraine, Nancy, and Jo Ann. Annie was blessed with 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

To know Annie was to love her. Kind, welcoming, and never one to complain, she devoted herself to her family, often taking the bus with her children to doctor appointments since she did not drive. For many years she worked as an Avon Lady, going door to door. She and Tony enjoyed hunting for treasures at garage sales and swap meets, spending time with dear friends and family, and taking road trips to Las Vegas and Laughlin. She found joy in raising birds, from parakeets and cockatiels to her beloved lovebirds, and remained a devoted Dodgers fan throughout her life. She also cherished watching classic television shows and favorite movies.

Annie will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her smile and gentle touch remain in the hearts of her family, who will carry her memory with them until they meet again.
