Annie Belle Price

Annie Belle Price passed away on March 6, 2026, at The Pines Long Term Care Home in Bracebridge. Born on November 12, 1931, in North Sydney, Nova Scotia, Annie lived a life defined by devotion, creativity, and quiet strength.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Judy Kameka (Alfrey) of Stouffville and Gloria Fedoruk of Bracebridge. Annie will be deeply missed by her granddaughters April of Richmond Hill and Lynn of Stouffville, and her great-granddaughter Zoe of Toronto, who held her in great affection. She is also survived by her sister Edith Brown-Chandler of Minden and her brother Lewis Price of Gravenhurst. Annie was predeceased by her brothers Jim, Tom, and Joe Price.

A woman of many talents, Annie took great joy in cooking, baking, knitting, sewing, crocheting, and quilting, skills she shared generously with family and friends. Though she completed only Grade 6, she later upgraded her math and accounting knowledge, demonstrating a lifelong determination and love of learning. For more than 27 years she worked at Branson Hospital in North York, serving in many roles including switchboard operator, admitting, medical records, maintenance secretary, and business office clerk. Her dedication and strong work ethic earned her the respect of her colleagues.

Faith was the cornerstone of Annie’s life. Deeply devoted to her church, she expressed her spirituality through the poetry she wrote. Her family cherishes memories of her reading bedtime Bible stories to her daughters and the hymns they sang together during car rides—moments filled with warmth, comfort, and love. Her legacy of kindness, creativity, faith, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
