Annette and her husband, Paul, relocated to Williamsburgin 2005 from Huntington Beach, California, where they had resided for 30 years.Annette was born in Dallas, Texas, January 18, 1948, and moved to Palos Verdes,California with her parents and siblings when she was 14 years old.After graduating from Rolling Hills High School, Annette worked in banking alongsideher sister, Judy. In 1969, she met Paul and they married in 1970. When their daughtersDeborah and Karen were young, the family moved to Huntington Beach, California in1976. Some of Annette's fondest memories were when her family was young and herparents and siblings all lived in southern California. Along with Paul's siblings and in-laws, John and Anne Zak and Lee and Wayne Frankforter, and their children, Annette'sfamily joined in regular holiday gatherings and outings, and visits from June and DanZak, Paul's brother, who lived in Omaha, Nebraska, along with their sons.After Paul retired from American Airlines, Annette and he moved to Williamsburg,Virginia, drawn by the history and beauty of the state and its mix of southern values andeast coast charm. Annette and Paul enjoyed many adventures in the area and alsomade many new friends. Annette enjoyed using her interior design skills to design theirhome and her flower arranging skills both at home and as part of the flower guild atWilliamsburg Presbyterian Church.Annette was a lifelong Presbyterian, a follower of Jesus. She devoted much of herselfand her time to Bible study groups and personal reading and reflection, and she alwayslooked forward to Sunday services.Annette is survived by her husband, Paul, daughters, Deborah Zak and Karen Zak, andher brother, William Moyer. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilmer and LillianMoyer, her sisters, Judith Moyer and Janette Moyer, and her brother, Michael Moyer.
