Annette E. Hocevar passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on August 2, 1935, in Cleveland, Ohio, she lived a life rich in love, laughter, and meaningful connections.

Annette was the beloved wife of Richard Hocevar for 69 years and a devoted mother to her three daughters, Marlene Hocevar, Laurie (Kevin) Kuhar, and Judy (Terry) Wisebaker. She found great joy as a grandmother to Allison (Shaun) Spisak, Bennett Kuhar, and Gregory Kuhar. She is also survived by her dear sister, Kathleen Jones, and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Beatrice and Leo Dworznik; her sister, Joan Dworznik; brother-in-law and his wife, Andy and Marge Hocevar; sister-in-law and her husband, Dorothy (Ray) Kalchert; and brother-in-law, Tom Jones.

Together with Richard, Annette was among the first families to purchase land and build a home in Roaming Shores, where she formed many true and lasting friendships. She contributed to the family business, Maple Heights Catering, and was known for her vibrant spirit and love of life. She enjoyed traveling the world on cruises, wintering in Naples with family and friends, and found delight in golfing, dancing, and gardening. An elegant woman who thrived in the company of others, Annette was the heart of her family and a cherished friend to many.
