Born in St. Casmir, Quebec, Canada, she was the eldest of twelve children and the beloved wife of Gaston Turcotte, who pre-deceased her in 2019.Annemarie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose warmth, creativity, and generosity touched everyone who knew her. She is lovingly remembered by her four children and spouses: Daniele Turcotte and husband Barry Johnson, Serge Turcotte, Josee and husband Paul Travers, Michele and husband Brian Deskin. She was a proud grandmother and adored by her seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.She was a graduate of Clarkson College in Potsdam, NY, and shared her love of learning as a teacher in the Ogdensburg New York school district. She expressed her creativity through her floral creations, oil paintings and ceramic art. She also gave generously of her time as a volunteer with the Ogdensburg Society of St. Vincent de Paul, serving others with compassion and quiet dedication.Annemarie will be remembered for her generous heart, her wisdom, and the joy and laughter she brought to family and friends. She was a kind person who was always there for those who needed her. She weathered life's storms with grace, quiet wisdom, and a radiant smile.Intelligent, grounded, and compassionate, she lived a life worth celebrating.
