She is survived by: her husband Joe Leonard Wright; her children, Derek (Kacie) and Lakeshia; her grandchildren, Harriet and Leonard; her siblings, Charles Williams of Detroit, Murleen Williams of Chicago and Eloise Shaw of Birmingham, Alabama.; and her aunt Lula Brown of Chicago. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Krueger Funeral Home (13050 Greenwood Ave, Blue Island, IL 60406). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
