Anne T. Pullen

September 1, 1937 March 6, 2026

Concord, NH

Anne Tooker Pullen, 88, of Concord, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026, at Epsom Health Care Center.

Born on September 1, 1937, in Jackson Heights, New York, Anne was raised in a devout Catholic family. She attended The Mary Louis Academy and Marymount College before earning her master’s degree from Regis University. She began her professional life as a schoolteacher, then devoted herself fully to raising her family. Later she served as a director of religious education and pastoral associate, and ultimately founded her own consulting business focused on family ministry.

Anne shared 50 years of marriage with the love of her life, E. Markey “Pat” Pullen, until his passing in 2011. Together they created a home grounded in faith, family, and service to others. She was predeceased by her daughters Suzanne and Denise, her parents Gershom and Anne (Robinson) Tooker, her brother Charles Tooker, and her sister Margaret Mary Kane.

She is survived by her sons, Mark and his wife Suzanne of Fairfield, Connecticut, and Christopher and his wife Anne of Charleston, South Carolina. Anne was a proud and loving Nana to Nicholas and his wife Stephanie, Kaitlin, Michelle and her husband Matthew, Emily, Claire, Jennifer, Megan, and Matthew, and a delighted great-grandmother to Maisie, Noah, Athena, and Sophia.

Anne will be remembered for her deep faith, her tireless devotion to family and friends, and her generous spirit. As a mother she was strong, caring, and blessed with an enthusiastic sense of humor. While she held firm convictions, she remained open to listening and thoughtfully engaging with others’ perspectives. She cherished time spent with her family, lively conversations around the table, and celebrating holidays together. For many years she and Pat were active in Marriage Encounter as team leaders, and they volunteered at the New Hampshire State Prison while supporting Kairos Prison Ministries, reflecting their shared commitment to ministry and service.

Anne’s family takes comfort in knowing she is reunited with those she loved and now rests in God’s peace.
