Hilton, NY

Anne Marie Statt Duggan was born on February 11, 1942, on a large family farm to Roman and Eloise Statt. She passed peacefully on March 12, 2026, at the age of 84. A woman of quiet strength and deep faith, Anne graduated from St. Agnes High School in 1960 and went on to earn an Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy from St. Mary’s School of X-Ray in 1962. She began her professional life as an X-Ray Technician before serving as a Medical Secretary for Nephrologists for fifteen years and later retiring from Unity Hospital.

In 1963, Anne married the love of her life, John F. Duggan. Together they raised two children, Patrick and Nancy Ann. She was predeceased by her husband John in 2024, her grandchildren Nicholas Emerson and Wesley Stack, her parents, her sister Katherine Sabido, and her brother Robert Statt. She is survived by her children, Patrick (Susan) Duggan and Nancy Ann Tessier; her grandchildren, Derek and Dana Duggan, and Patrick Stack Jr.; her great-grandchildren, Kylee and Kolton Emerson and Lennox Wilson Mason; her sister Margaret Anderson; and many nieces and nephews.

Anne’s commitment to her community was lifelong. In 1977 she joined the Hilton Fire Department Ambulance Corps, serving as an EMT for twenty-three years. She held the roles of Captain of the Ambulance Corps and Secretary of the Hilton Fire Department, served on the EMS Advisory Board for Monroe County, and was honored as a Life Member. She also served as President of the Hilton Rotary Anns. Later in life she worked as Comptroller at Impact Print Solutions, her son’s company. A devoted member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, she found joy in boating with John aboard their vessel Serenity 4, playing golf, and tending her beloved gardens.

Anne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose kindness, faith, and selfless spirit touched everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
