Anne Howell ObituaryPublished by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 13, 2026.Anne Howell, 93, of Ellensburg went peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 31, 2026. She was born in Woodhill, Saskatchewan Canada on February 15,1932, to Karl and Polly Lackman who had immigrated to Canada from Ukraine in the late 1920s. She attended business school in Vancouver BC. While visiting her sister in Ellensburg she met the love of her life James Howell. They were married on March 10, 1954. He preceded her in death on November 15, 2013.Together they ran Howell Refrigeration and later Anne's Antiques on Main St. for over 60 years.Anne loved to cook and family and friends were blessed with her wonderful feasts of pot roasts, turkey dinners, fried chicken and the beloved Easter Donuts. Her first comment when you arrived was, "Are you hungry?"Her passion was telling people about Jesus her Savior. She had found the truth and wanted to share it with anyone who would listen.She is survived by her four children: Claire (Barbara) Hurrey, Beverly Jahn (Bill), James Howell Jr. and John Howell (Ling), a sister, Minnie Moro of Alberta, Canada; four grandsons; one great-grandson; 7 nephews; and 5 nieces.She will be missed.Well done good and faithful servant.The complete obituary is available at https://neptunesociety.com/obituaries/12747652.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
