Anna S. Meier

Anna Sue Meier, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026. Anna was a loving wife and mother, who was passionate about her grandkids and loved spending time with them. She was an avid bowler, an adventurer, and enjoyed traveling out west with her husband. Anna will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was born on April 30, 1945 in Owensboro, Kentucky to William and Maudie (Foster) Hayes. She is preceded in death by her Father, William McGuire Hayes, Mother, Maudie Lee Hayes, Husband, Louis Rusty Meier, Siblings, Mary Hays, Nancy Hays, Donald Hays, and Stevie Hays.

Anna is survived by her loving Children, William (Anna) Meier, Louis Scott (Kimberly) Meier, and April (Dave) Lynch, Grandchildren, Vincent Lynch, Grace Lynch, Tiffany Davis, Amanda Medley, 6 Great-Grandchildren, Brother, Michael (Alice) Hays, and Beloved Dog, Bandit, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 12:30 pm on Thursday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, Kentucky.
