Anna Christine Ridless

Anna Christine Ridless, known to her family and friends as Christine or Chris, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, at the age of 61 in Dunlap, Tennessee. Born on May 7, 1964, in Anchorage, Alaska, she was the fourth of five children born to her mother, Anna Foster, of Silverdale, Washington. She grew up alongside her siblings Laura Schryver, Ronald Sharp, Julie McGlothen, and David Cook.

Christine was the devoted mother of three sons, Nick, Adam, and Greg Nelson, with their father Steve Nelson. She took great pride in her family and cherished her five grandchildren: Natalie, Mary Kate, Lucy (Christine), Noah, and Zara. Those who knew her will remember her infectious laugh, quick wit, and expressive eyes that lit up any room.

She faced life with courage and gratitude, often saying that the joy it brought made every moment “worth it.” Christine leaves behind a family who loved her deeply and will miss her presence. She now rests free from pain, watching over those she held closest.
