Ann Munn Newman, born on September 27, 1937, in Georgia, passed away on March 11, 2026, in Brandon, Mississippi. She had lived in the Brandon area since 1972, after moving from Tupelo. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, Ann was known for her warmth and kindness, which touched the lives of all who knew her.
She found deep community and shared faith at First Baptist Fannin, where she was an active member. Her devotion to family remained the center of her life, and she cherished the many moments spent with those she loved.
Ann is survived by her daughters, Pamela (Ron) McMaster, Cindy (Wayne) Murray, and Paula (Cliff) Latta; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She is also remembered by her sisters, Alma Alexander, Pat Morgan, Juanita Ballard, and Faye Schlein, along with several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Munn, who passed away in 1990; her parents, Rev. W.R. Turner and Pauline Lowe Turner; her sister, Reby Webler; and her brothers, Dempsey Turner, Rogers Turner, Jack Turner, and Billy Turner.
