Ann Grace Foran
November 23, 1925— March 9, 2026
Carmel, NY
Ann Grace Foran passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026, at the age of 100. Born on November 23, 1925, in New York, Ann lived a life marked by creativity, devotion, and quiet strength. She began her career at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where her sharp mind and attention to detail served her well. Later, she found fulfillment in real estate in Mahopac, where her warm interpersonal skills helped many families find their homes.
On April 21, 1956, Ann married Kenneth Foran, and together they built a loving home centered on family and faith. She was a devoted mother to Kathleen (Joseph), Ann (Jerry), Pat (Jeffrey), and John (Valerie). Her ten grandchildren—Anna, Gabriella, Salvatore, Jennifer, Christine, Stephanie, Dawn, Jeffrey, Kerri, and Stephenie—were the joyful focus of her later years, receiving her endless affection, stories, and gentle wisdom.
Ann gave generously of her time and compassion to her community, volunteering at Putnam Hospital for more than thirty years. A woman of deep faith, she was actively involved with the Columbiettes and found daily peace in praying the rosary. She also expressed her love through the quiet artistry of quilting and knitting, creating beautiful pieces that brought warmth and comfort to those she cherished.
Ann Grace Foran will be remembered as the embodiment of gentleness and love. Her legacy lives on through the values she instilled in her children and grandchildren, the faith she practiced so faithfully, and the many lives she touched with her kind and creative spirit.
