She was known for her vivacious personality, her warm heart, and her ability to make everyone feel welcome. Ann never knew a stranger and formed lasting friendships wherever she went, often considering those friends to be part of her extended family.In April 1964, Ann married the love of her life, Wayne. Their marriage was a beautiful example of devotion and enduring love. Every Valentine's Day and Anniversary, Wayne sent Ann yellow roses accompanied by a simple note that read, "Me love you!" It was a tradition that perfectly captured the playful affection and deep commitment they shared-one that many admired and sought to emulate.Ann had a flair for style and joy for the simple pleasures in life. She was known for her impeccable taste in clothing, shoes, and handbags, her bright lipstick, and her love of a good chai latte. Above all, Ann's greatest joy came from her family, whom she loved so fiercely. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her the deepest pride and happiness. She treasured every moment spent with them.Ann will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her kindness, her unmistakable sense of style, and the deep love she shared with her family and friends. Her life was a testament to love, loyalty, and living with joy.Her family will forever hold her memory in their hearts.She is survived by her loving children, Jeffery Wayne Cornett (Nancie) and Cristi Ann Cornett Miller (Mark); her four beloved grandchildren, Austin Miller (Sydney), Tyler Fields (Dustyn), Jake Miller (Morgan), and Sean Wetzel (Alex); and her four cherished great-grandchildren, Marcus Miller, Elise Miller, Andrew Miller and Sadie Miller.In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Diabetes Association.A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
