Ann L. Christensen, 86, of Enfield, beloved wife of the late Roger Christensen, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in White Plains, New York on May 7, 1939, Ann was the daughter of the late Frank and Tilda (Orlando) DeCicco. She grew up in Rye, New York before moving to Enfield, where she raised her family and made her lifelong home.
Ann found deep joy in life’s quiet beauties. She tended her garden with care, delighted in watching birds at her feeder, and cherished summers at the family beach cottage in Niantic. Above all, she lived for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the center of her world. She remembered every birthday and anniversary, celebrated life’s smallest moments with handwritten cards, and offered a warmth and kindness that touched everyone who knew her. Her gentle laughter and steady presence remain a cherished gift to all who loved her.
She was predeceased by her brother Frank DeCicco and her sisters Madeline DeCicco and Jean Moroney. Ann leaves behind her devoted daughters, Deb Bradshaw and her husband Rich of Enfield, and Karen Enman and her husband Mike of Windsor Locks; her cherished grandchildren Dani Enman, Jaimee and her husband Eric Marcus, and Kristen and her husband Shawn Robinson; her adored great-grandchildren Avery, Kris, Teddy, and Kaia; her brother Vincent DeCicco; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
