Anita Marie Ricasoli

Anita Marie Ricasoli

December 12, 1937 March 10, 2026

Bordentown, NJ

Anita Marie (Burke) Ricasoli, 88, of Bordentown, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on December 12, 1937, in Brooklyn, New York, Anita was the daughter of Edward R. Burke and Elizabeth (Vachris) Burke. She cherished her life in Bordentown, where she devoted herself first to raising her children as a stay-at-home mother, creating a warm and loving home that remained the heart of her world. Later she owned and operated Ricasoli’s Sub Shop in town, where she formed many lasting friendships through the years. She went on to work as an office manager with Ricasoli and Santin.

Anita found great joy on the golf course, where she played for many years with family and friends and once achieved a hole-in-one. She and her husband spent happy winters as snowbirds in The Villages, enjoying golf, bingo, and the sunshine. She was actively involved in her children’s sports and later took equal delight in watching her grandchildren compete. Above all, Anita was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother whose encouragement, strength, and quiet support touched everyone around her. Family was her greatest treasure, and the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren brought her the deepest happiness.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Ignazio “Lenny” Ricasoli; her children, Leonard Ricasoli (MaryBeth), Lisa Swanson (Donald), and John Ricasoli; her grandchildren, Jessica Sullivan (Charles), Adam Swanson (Kate), Dominic Ricasoli (Julia), and Alex Ricasoli (Taylor); and her great-grandchildren, Olivia and Charlotte Sullivan, Drew Ricasoli, and Emma. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Louise Bunda, as well as several nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents and her four siblings, Edward R. Burke Jr., Elizabeth (Betty Ann) Burke, Sheila Giberson (Donald), and Maida Burke.
