Anita C. Moyers

Anita C. Moyers, aged 90, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2026, surrounded by her husband and family.

Born in Gassaway, West Virginia, Anita lived in Mogadore for more than fifty years. She found quiet joy in tending to her plants and reading, though her greatest pleasure was always time spent with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Robert Moyers, and their three children, Sharon (Jim) Brandt, Terry (Jim) Cooley, and Bobby (Beth) Moyers; granddaughters Crystal (Jason) Hamblin, Alyssa (Bradley) Russell, and Erin Moyers; great-grandchildren Caiden Shaw, Holly and Audrey Gillespie, and Duncan Russell; and step-granddaughters Jennifer Messina and family, and Lindsay Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Virgie Chapman, her brother Oval Chapman, and her sisters Gwen Arnold and Donna Craft.
