Angelo Venna ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by C. J. Lucas Funeral Home, Inc. - Kulpmont on Feb. 27, 2026.With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and loyal friend, Angelo A. "Ang" Venna Sr., who left us peacefully on February 26, 2026, at the age of 83.Ang was the heart of his family and the steady hand that guided everyone around him. His greatest treasure in life was his beloved wife, Maryann (Staniszewski) Venna, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, partnership, and unwavering devotion. Together they built a family that became his proudest accomplishment and deepest joy.A hardworking man with over 20 years experience as a blaster at Cheri-Lee Inc., he had a true talent for fixing just about anything, he especially loved working on and selling vehicles. The garage was his happy place, and some of his most treasured memories were made there with his grandsons, Trevor, Brett, and Tanner by his side, helping him put parts on vehicles, learning his skills, and sharing laughs and stories. He didn't just teach them how to work on cars, he taught them patience, dedication, and the value of time spent together.Ang was known for his humor and familiar words often calling out, "Where did you park?". A phrase his family will forever hear in his voice and smile about. He cherished and loved spending time with his big Italian family.Ang is survived by his beloved wife, Maryann Venna. He was a proud and loving father, to Angelo Venna and his wife, Angela, Maryanne Rimokaitis and her husband, John, and Christinia Venna-Waugh and her husband, Rich; his grandchildren, Alyssia, Brett, Brittany, Jessica, Trevor, Kayla, Tanner, John, Amanda, and Alexandria "Ali"; nieces and nephews, Joseph Petrovich, and fiancé, Heather Alexander, Melissa Williams and husband, Jack, Chris Venna, Michael Venna and wife, Katrina, Lisa Petrovich-Stanchick, and Stosh Pultynovich, whom brought him immeasurable happiness and kept his days full of laughter. Nothing lit up his face more than becoming a great-grandfather. He was so excited to meet and love, Maylynn, Audriella, Aleeah, Camille, and Zolana. He treasure every moment with them, especially babysitting Ali and Camille whenever he got the chance. They kept him hopping just like all the grandchildren did. They filled his life with energy, joy, and endless smiles. He is also survived by his brothers, Charlie Venna and his wife, Rosemarie and Christy Venna and wife, Janice.Ang was preceded in death by his mother and father, Rose (Nestico) Venna and Christ "Doc" Venna; and two sisters, Cathy Petrovich and Christina Pultynovich and husband, Stosh. To everyone who knew him he was dependable, kind, and always ready to lend a hand. He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, humor, and family bonds that will live on for generations. Though our hearts are broken we are grateful for the memories, the lessons, and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and forever in our hearts.Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 28th, at 11 a.m. with Father Andrew Stahmer officiating in the Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott St., Kulpmont.
